Job summary

Kinetic seeks an HSE Advisor to support the KSR team in Mackay with regular travel to Bowen Basin and other locations. The role reports to the Manager HSE CQ, SA & NT and focuses on implementing and maintaining HSE programs and initiatives.

Collaborate with the HSEQ team to promote a safe work environment and contribute to achieving HSEQ goals. Priorities include audits, risk management, and supporting continuous improvement across high‑risk areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• Experience with quality management systems (AS/NZS4801, ISO14001, ISO9001) and audits.
• Proven ability to lead risk assessments, inspections and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, hands-on safety support including incident investigations and risk management.
• Identify, eliminate and mitigate workplace hazards and risks across sites and projects.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and hazard assessments.
• Collate HSE trends and report to enable continuous improvement.
• Coordinate local Safety Committee and monitor HSE performance across the business unit.
• Support HSE obligations under the Kinetic Way and ISO accreditation.
