Kinetic is seeking an HSE Advisor to support the KSR team in Mackay, with regular travel to Bowen Basin locations. You will implement and maintain HSE programs, collaborate with HSEQ and operations staff, and help achieve HSEQ goals.

You’ll provide practical safety support, conduct audits, and coordinate safety initiatives while contributing to continuous improvement across the business unit under the guidance of the HSE leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in OH&S or related discipline, or substantial relevant experience.
• Experience with quality management systems (AS/NZS4801, ISO14001, ISO9001).
• Ability to conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and HSE activities.
• Proven track record in supporting leaders to manage workplace health and safety.
• Experience implementing HSE policies to align with regulations and org policy.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to changing work environments.
• Strong computer literacy in MS Office and internal systems.

Aufgaben

• Provide practical, hands-on safety support and advice on incident investigations and risk management.
• Identify, eliminate, and mitigate workplace hazards and risks.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments across locations.
• Collate and report HSE trends with recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate the local Safety Committee and monitor HSE performance.
• Support HSE incident reporting and investigation framework with management reporting.
• Assist in meeting HSE obligations under the Kinetic Way and ISO accreditation.
• Contribute to continuous review and improvement of safe work methods, especially in high-risk areas.
• Coordinate internal and external HSE audits and develop action plans.
• Maintain Emergency Management and Chemical Management systems.
• Keep statutory registers and depot records relating to HSE documentation and data.
• Monitor contractor safety and compliance; collaborate with People, Safety and Service Delivery teams.
• Support delivery of the HSE Strategic and Operational Plan.
