Resource Services Group X in Sydney is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to support mining, resources and infrastructure projects. You will help maintain the integrated HSE management system and implement safe systems of work.

Due to continued growth, Resource Services Group X have an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to join us in Sydney working on a variety of challenging and exciting projects and be an integral part of the continued growth of RSGx Group. Key duties will include:
We’re looking for an experienced HSE professional with formal qualifications in Health, Safety and Environment and demonstrated experience working across mining and resources or infrastructure construction projects. You’ll have a strong understanding of HSE legislation, Codes of Practice, relevant Australian Standards and Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
You’ll have experience auditing HSE processes, conducting site safety inspections, identifying and controlling hazards, and investigating incidents using methodologies such as ICAM or TapRooT. You’ll also be confident in developing and implementing procedures and checklists that meet WHS requirements, as well as identifying and delivering safety training initiatives across the business.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also working autonomously. You’ll be well organised, able to prioritise competing workloads and demonstrate strong time management skills.
You’ll also hold a Construction Industry Training Card and a valid Driver’s Licence and be able to successfully complete a medical and drug & alcohol screen.
