Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a growing construction team delivering projects across Tamworth and the surrounding region. This is a casual contract for 6–12 months, with a start available in approximately 2 weeks and a Monday to Friday roster.

Working closely with site and project teams, you will conduct site inspections, review SWMS and risk assessments, lead toolbox talks and inductions, and support incident investigations to ensure safe delivery of works across

Qualifications

• Previous HSE/WHS experience within construction
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and construction safety requirements
• Experience with audits, inspections, risk assessments and safety documentation
• Excellent communication with site crews and project teams
• Current driver's licence and ability to commence within ~2 weeks

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations
• Review SWMS, risk assessments and HSE documentation
• Support toolbox talks, pre-starts and site inductions
• Monitor site compliance and implement corrective actions
• Assist with incident reporting and investigations

About the Role

About You

To be considered, you will need:

• Cert IV, Diploma or relevant qualification in WHS/HSE
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and construction safety requirements
• Experience with audits, inspections, risk assessments and safety documentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with site crews
• Current driver's licence
• Available to commence within approximately 2 weeks
