Job summary

Fetch Recruitment is seeking an HSE Advisor for a mix of office-based work in the Northern Suburbs and regular site visits near Melbourne Airport. A company vehicle is provided for site travel, and there is genuine flexibility to choose between full-time or a 4-day week (pro rata).

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years' WHS/HSE experience, a Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS, and a solid understanding of WHS legislation with proactive safety leadership. A current driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' experience in a WHS/HSE Advisor role.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS, or equivalent qualification.
• Solid understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice and risk management principles.
• Comfortable working across both office and site-based environments.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Strong communication skills and a practical, proactive approach to safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HSE advice and support across office and site environments.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Support incident investigations and corrective action processes.
• Review and monitor compliance with SWMS and safety documentation.
• Assist with inductions, toolbox talks and safety training delivery.
• Maintain compliance records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Our client, an established business delivering projects near Melbourne Airport, is looking for an HSE Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a safety professional in the 3–7 year experience range who wants genuine flexibility without stepping back from meaningful project work. This role offers a mix of office-based work from the northern suburbs and regular site visits to projects out near the airport. A company vehicle is provided for site travel. Our client is genuinely open to a 4-day week (pro rata) or full-time hours — whatever suits your circumstances best.

Key Responsibilities
