On behalf of our client-a leading national provider in the essential waste management and environmental services sector-we are seeking a practical, hands-on HSE Advisor to join their team. About the Role

Our client is actively transitioning their HSEQ function from traditional reactive management to a proactive, strategic focus on critical risk management.

In this position, you will split your focus between operational ground support and national strategic initiatives. Working closely with site leadership and transport crews, you will build authentic relationships, drive practical safety compliance, and embed critical risk controls across daily operations.

Key Requirements & Skills

• Operational HSE Background: Practical experience in health and safety, ideally within waste, transport, logistics, heavy industry, or industrial services.
• Proven Achievements: Demonstrated ability to articulate practical safety achievements and critical risk improvements.
• Strong Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with drivers, depot staff, and management.
• Grounded Focus: A practical, hands-on work ethic; someone who thrives on site engagement rather than pure desk-bound administration.
