Job summary

Longreach Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor for a commercial construction portfolio spanning industrial, retail and education sectors. You will work hand-in-hand with site teams to uphold rigorous health, safety and environmental standards on negotiated projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety (Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV).
• Proven experience as HSEQ Advisor within commercial construction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with an experienced site team to maintain high safety standards throughout projects.
• Promote a positive safety culture across commercial construction sites.
• Contribute to incident investigations and ICAM processes when required.
• Assist in developing and implementing HSEQ procedures across multiple projects.

They are currently looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join their team, the role will see you working closely with an experienced site team, helping maintain high safety standards throughout the project.

Key Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety (Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV).

Proven experience working as an HSEQ Advisor within commercial construction.

Valid driver's licence, Senior First Aid and ICAM Incident Investigation qualifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build strong relationships with site teams and subcontractors while promoting a positive safety culture.
