Job summary

A leading contractor in safety management is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor for a FIFO role to support operations across multiple projects in Northern WA. This position plays a crucial role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, and facilitating safety training. Ideal candidates will have experience in construction, civil, or mining environments and hold at least a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety. Competitive hourly rates of $75 - $80 plus superannuation are offered.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a well-established contractor delivering works across multiple projects in remote WA locations.

This is a FIFO role on an 8:6 roster, working across various sites in Northern WA, supporting operations and ensuring strong safety performance across all projects.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project/Operations team, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a positive safety culture across multiple sites. This position requires flexibility to travel between multiple projects as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, policies, and procedures
• Facilitate incident investigations and reporting
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and inductions
• Assist with development and implementation of safety systems
• Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across teams
• Support supervisors and management with safety-related matters

About You

• Previous experience as an HSE Advisor within construction, civil, or mining environments
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong attention to detail and reporting capability
• Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements
