HR Projects Advisor (Part Time Options Available, 14 months)

People & Culture Projects Partner | 14-Month Fixed Term Contract | Full-Time or Part-Time Available

Melbourne | Hybrid | Full-time or 4 days considered

Join a lean, experienced People & Culture team within an established operational business of approximately 200 employees across Australia and New Zealand. This is a genuine opportunity to take on a varied remit, improve how things work and shape the role around your strengths.

Initially offered as a minimum 12-month fixed-term contract, the role will support a mix of People projects, systems optimisation and Talent Acquisition. The exact balance is deliberately flexible.

What you could be working on:

• Taking ownership of low-volume, end-to-end recruitment across the business.
• Optimising a recently implemented HR system, including workflows, vendor liaison and identifying opportunities to make better use of the platform.
• Improving People reporting and analytics, including manipulating data and producing meaningful workforce reporting.
• Supporting performance and leadership development initiatives, including LinkedIn Learning and 360-degree tools.
• Contributing to broader change and organisational projects depending on your experience and interests.
• Working closely with an experienced HR team and gaining exposure to areas outside your existing skill set.

About you

We are intentionally keeping the brief open. You do not need to tick every box.

Our ideal person brings HR systems/data capability alongside some Talent Acquisition experience, but we are open to different profiles. You might be an emerging People & Culture Generalist who loves systems and wants broader exposure, or an experienced HR professional looking for a varied four-day-a-week contract.

You do not need prior experience with the organisation’s HR platform. More important is an aptitude for systems, confidence working with data, sound judgement and the ability to pick things up quickly.

You will suit a small, collaborative team if you're practical, positive and willing to get involved, with the confidence and respect to challenge stakeholders thoughtfully.

The role requires 3 days on site in their CBD offices.
