Job summary

Mallesons is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator on a 12-month contract based in Sydney or Melbourne. You will rotate through stages of the employee lifecycle, gaining broad HR exposure within a top-tier law firm.

You will support the P&D Hub, coordinate onboarding, leave management and HRIS updates, and collaborate with People Advisory and Strategy teams to deliver accurate HR services with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role within legal, professional services or HR functions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and HR systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee lifecycle processes on a rotational basis including onboarding and leave
• Support HR projects with data accuracy in HRIS systems
• Maintain accurate employee files and data in systems such as Workday and Jira
• Triage incoming HR inquiries and support policy and reporting requests
• Assist specialisation and advisory teams with remuneration, policy and learning activities
