Job summary

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is seeking a detail-oriented HR Operations Officer to join our team on a temporary full-time basis until end of February 2027. You will handle employee service queries, onboarding tasks, and payroll support, ensuring data accuracy in the HRIS and compliance with enterprise agreements.

The role requires strong communication, HR systems knowledge, and attention to detail, with opportunities for growth within CSPD. A Working With Children Check is required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organisational skills with a solutions-focused approach.
• Sound knowledge of HR systems and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and proactivity.
• Ability to interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements and relevant employment legislation.
• A current Working With Children Check (Paid Employee).
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or a related field (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee service queries and manage tier one and two support requests via the ticketing system
• Assist with employee services such as onboarding, document requests, employment forms, and data updates
• Support fortnightly payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and ensure compliance with enterprise agreements and legislation
• Contribute to projects, process improvements, and administrative support tasks
