Job summary

Coral Homes is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support end-to-end HR activities across our business. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will coordinate employee lifecycle activities, maintain HR records, and assist with compliance and HR systems to deliver a positive employee experience.

Based at our Varsity Lakes head office, this full-time role offers a busy, collaborative environment in Queensland’s Gold Coast region, with standard business hours 8:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday and

Qualifications

• A qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in HR Administration, HR Coordinator, HR Officer, or similar role.
• Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and modern awards.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional approach when handling confidential and sensitive information.
• A strong customer service mindset and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
• Experience using HRIS such as Humanforce or similar platforms will be highly regarded.
• Experience within residential construction will be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal movements, and offboarding
• Providing first-level HR support to employees and leaders on policies, procedures, and HR systems
• Coordinating performance and probation review processes
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Monitoring compliance requirements, including licences, qualifications, work rights, and training records
• Coordinating employee engagement, wellbeing, and reward and recognition initiatives
• Managing HR systems and assisting employees with HR platform enquiries
• Conducting exit interviews and preparing feedback summaries
• Assisting with HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities
• Providing payroll administration support and employee movement updates
• Supporting HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and process enhancements
