Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of workforce reporting, governance and compliance activities, ensuring obligations are met accurately and on time.
• Manage complex reporting processes and submissions, coordinating input from executives, subject matter experts and external stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver workforce communication and engagement activities that support organisational priorities and drive positive workforce outcomes.
• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of diversity and inclusion strategies, initiatives and action plans that support organisational priorities.
• Build productive relationships with employee networks, executives and staff to strengthen workforce inclusion, employee engagement and organisational culture.
• Provide cultural mentorship and career development support to First Nations staff, helping to create a culturally safe and inclusive workplace.
• Support the First Nations Staff Network and the First Nations Champion through coordination, advice and advocacy.
• Contribute to culturally safe recruitment and onboarding processes for First Nations staff and develop workforce strategies that improve retention, progression and leadership pathways.
• Support the implementation of the AIHW's Reconciliation Action Plan and other workforce diversity initiatives.
