Job summary

Veolia in Pyrmont, Australia, is seeking a HR generalist to provide and implement HR advice and strategies across business units. You will partner with managers to support effective people management and align HR initiatives with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in HR or related business discipline.
• Previous experience as an HR Advisor/HR Business Partner (generalist).
• Drivers License and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with leaders/ managers to determine their needs, assist in developing solutions and supporting them in proactive people management.
• Rollout HR systems, policies and procedures that support business objectives.
• Contribute to Workforce Planning.
• Lead initiatives that foster increased employee participation & commitment.
• Monitor HR legislative regulatory requirements and industry trends, and assess, communicate and plan for potential impacts,
• Provide advice, support and coordination for industrial relations issues, performance management and discipline discussions, and Agreement negotiations etc.
