Job summary

Veolia Australia seeks an experienced HR Generalist/Advisor to partner with leaders across business units from our Pyrmont office. You will deliver practical HR advice, support proactive people management and rollout HR policies aligned to business goals.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in HR or related business discipline.
• Experience as HR Advisor/HR Business Partner (generalist).
• Driver's licence and own vehicle.

• Rollout HR systems, policies and procedures that support business objectives.
• Contribute to Workforce Planning.

The Opportunity

In this newly created position, you will be able to make your mark by providing and implementing HR advice support and strategies that ensure best practice HR Management. Based in our Corporate Office in Pyrmont, you will partner with a range of managers and supervisors to support them in effective people management by anticipating and responding to business needs. Working across a range of Veolia’s business units, you will build managers’ knowledge base and capability and make sure they achieve good HR outcomes.

What you'll be responsible for

Maintain regular contact with leaders/ managers to determine their needs, assist in developing solutions and supporting them in proactive people management

Contribute to Workforce Planning

Lead initiatives that foster increased employee participation & commitment

Monitor HR legislative regulatory requirements and industry trends, and assess, communicate and plan for potential impacts,

Provide advice, support and coordination for industrial relations issues, performance management and discipline discussions, and Agreement negotiations etc.

What you'll need to be successful

Degree qualified in HR or related business discipline

Previous experience as an HR Advisor/HR Business Partner (generalist)

Drivers License and own vehicle
