Job summary

Cleanaway is hiring a tanker driver at Narangba, QLD. The role involves collecting liquid waste (grease traps/septics), transporting to our disposal plant, and maintaining accurate paperwork. Early starts (4 am) and overtime are typical; a safe, modern fleet is used.

Applicants need an Open HR Licence or higher, a clean driving record, and must pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test. National Police check is required; waste industry experience is not mandatory.

Job description

• Permanent – Full-time – Narangba, QLD
• $1500 retention bonus paid every 3 months
• Early morning starts, generally 4 am
• Monday to Friday + Overtime as required
• $34.08 an hour. Overtime is paid at overtime rates
• Uniforms and PPE provided
• Induction and training provided

Your new role:

Based at our Narangba site, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites. Your role includes collecting liquid waste (Grease traps and septics) into a tanker and transporting to our disposal plant for recycling. You will be working with a safe, modern, and reliable fleet. You will be required to operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations and complete all paperwork and records accurately.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

• Open HR Licence or higher (road ranger experience preferred) with a clean driving record
• Good attitude, reliable and willing to learn
• Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
• To be considered for this role, you must be able to obtain a National Police check (paid for by Cleanaway)
• Waste industry experience is not required
