Job summary

Based at Crestmead, this role services multiple customer sites, collects liquid waste (grease traps and septics) into a tanker and transports to our disposal plant for recycling. You will operate a safe, modern fleet and complete all required paperwork.

You will work with a safe, reliable fleet and follow company regulations to ensure zero harm. Start times are early, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Manual HR Licence or higher with a clean driving record.
• Willing to drive MR trucks.
• Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol tests.
• National Police check required.
• Waste industry experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport waste to disposal plants and recycling facilities.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely and complete paperwork accurately.

• $1500 retention bonus paid every 3 months
• Early morning starts, generally between 2am and 4am
• Monday to Friday + Overtime as required
• $34.08 an hour. Overtime is paid at overtime rates

Your New Role

Based at our Crestmead site, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites. Your role includes collecting liquid waste (Grease traps and septics) into a tanker and transporting to our disposal plant for recycling. You will be working with a safe, modern, and reliable fleet. You will be required to operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations and complete all paperwork and records accurately.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

• A manual HR Licence or higher with a clean driving record
• Willing to drive MR trucks
• Good attitude, reliable and willing to learn
• Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
• To be considered for this role, you must be able to obtain a National Police check (paid for by Cleanaway)
• Waste industry experience is not required
