Job summary

Landmark is seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our people function and support the employee experience across our expanding organisation in Sydney. You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, record management, payroll support, and HR policy compliance within a fast-paced multi-site environment.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will handle routine HR enquiries, assist with investigations, and contribute to engagement initiatives while maintaining privacy standards and accuracy in HR

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years HR coordination or similar experience.
  • Qualification in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in a multi-site environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment administration from job ads to interview scheduling and documentation.
  • Assist with onboarding, inductions, and pre-employment checks.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, organisational charts, and HR registers.
  • Administer HR systems and support routine employee and manager queries.
  • Manage probation monitoring, licences, training, and other key employee data with timely follow-up.
  • Support payroll administration through accurate and timely information provision.
  • Coordinate offboarding processes and contribute to performance and remuneration review cycles.
  • Support learning, development, and employee engagement activities.
  • Respond to routine HR enquiries and escalate complex matters to the HR Manager.
  • Assist with performance, conduct, grievance, and workplace investigations.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and contribute to HR policy reviews and improvements.

About the Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator plays a vital role in coordinating and delivering responsive, practical, and accurate HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring HR processes are timely, compliant, and aligned with Landmark Group’s values and policies.

You will be involved in activities such as recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee record management, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives. About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in HR coordination, administration, or a similar HR-focused role.
  • A qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (completed or in progress).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site environment such as property or construction is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of the Fair Work framework, National Employment Standards, and modern awards is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Professionalism, discretion and the confidence to engage with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Proactive and dependable work ethic with the ability to own routine HR processes.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills and experience with HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systems (Employment Hero experience a plus).
  • A positive, service-focused attitude and sound judgement in escalating matters appropriately.
