Job summary

Chandler Macleod in Sydney, NSW is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator on a part-time, 12-month contract. The role supports the People & Culture team across the full employee lifecycle, with a hybrid work model and a 3-day-per-week arrangement.

You will administer HR processes, assist with onboarding, changes and offboarding, coordinate payroll backup, generate reports, and drive process improvements in a busy, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous HR Coordinator or HR Administration experience.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Experience working in a high-volume administrative environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide employee lifecycle administration and HR support.
  • Support onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding activities.
  • Coordinate payroll processes and provide backup payroll processing support.
  • Assist with remuneration reviews and other cyclical HR activities.
  • Maintain HR records, documentation, and employee data.
  • Prepare reporting and support data analysis activities.
  • Assist with HR projects, process improvement, and automation initiatives.
  • Provide general administrative support to the broader People & Culture team.

HR Coordinator (Part-Time, 12-Month Contract)

Location: Sydney, NSW (Hybrid)

Work Type: 12-Month Contract | 3 Days per Week

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Coordinator to join a well-established organisation and support a busy People & Culture team. This role offers flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to contribute across the full employee lifecycle while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Reporting into the People & Culture team, you will play a key role in delivering HR administration, employee support, payroll coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide employee lifecycle administration and HR support
  • Support onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding activities
  • Coordinate payroll processes and provide backup payroll processing support
  • Assist with remuneration reviews and other cyclical HR activities
  • Maintain HR records, documentation, and employee data
