Job summary

Orro Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an HR Business Partner to support the People & Culture team across the full employee lifecycle and to run our Melbourne office on a 12‑month fixed term contract.

This hands‑on role involves policy guidance, accurate HR data, onboarding for new hires, employee relations, and partnering with leaders to drive change while operating in a hybrid model with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an HR Coordinator, HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role.
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR policy, and how they apply in practice.
• Knowledge of the annual HR lifecycle, including onboarding, and exposure to organisational change.
• A strong stakeholder focus, with the ability to build relationships and provide a high level of service.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with hands on HRIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Melbourne office day to day, including WHS, keeping it well organised and welcoming.
• Guide leaders and teams on P&C policy and practice, and support managers through employee relations matters in line with employment legislation.
• Help coordinate and deliver P&C initiatives and organisational change, including restructures.
• Manage onboarding for new starters across a business units, ensuring a great start.
• Support the HR lifecycle, including performance cycle, engagement, rewards and wellbeing.
• Keep HRIS (Employment Hero), HR reporting accurate, tracking staff movements and sharing insights.
