The role combines HR administration, recruitment and onboarding support, employee record management, office coordination, support to the Directors and general administration. It is a practical and varied position where no two days will be exactly the same.
Because the role supports our employees, visitors and day‑to‑day office operations, it will be primarily based at our Lane Cove West office. The specific working days and hours can be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
Key responsibilities
HR Administration
Assist in the preparation of employment contracts, variation letters and employee correspondence using approved templates
Maintain confidential employee files and HR records
Coordinate recruitment administration, interviews and candidate communication
Assist with reference checks and other pre‑employment requirements
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities
Prepare new‑starter documentation and induction schedules
Ensure employment forms and acknowledgements are completed
Maintain leave, training, probation and performance‑review records
Monitor important HR dates and follow up required actions
Respond to routine employee enquiries and refer complex matters appropriately
Office Administration
Coordinate the day‑to‑day administration of the office
Order stationery, kitchen supplies and office consumables
Monitor supplies and arrange replenishment
Obtain quotes and place approved orders
Receive deliveries and arrange couriers
Maintain organised electronic and physical records
Coordinate meeting rooms and shared office spaces
Assist with invoices, purchasing records and general documentation
Arrange office passes, keys and approved workplace access
Welcome visitors and assist with sign‑in arrangements
About you
You may already have experience in HR administration, office administration or a combined support role and are now looking for a flexible, part‑time position where your contribution will be valued.

communicates clearly, professionally and respectfully;

understands that routine administrative tasks are just as important to the business as other responsibilities.
Formal HR qualifications would be well regarded but are not essential. Practical experience, sound judgement, reliability and a genuine willingness to help are equally important.
