Job summary

Wellways Australia is seeking an experienced Team Leader to guide our frontline housing support team in Victoria. This on‑site leadership role focuses on hands‑on management, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred services in alignment with Housing First principles.

You will oversee daily delivery, develop staff, and drive performance while traveling across Melbourne and Gippsland sites to support delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience.
• Current valid Driver’s License and the ability to undertake travel for the role.
• Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Right to Work within Australia.
• Satisfactory National Police Record Check (valid within the last 12 months).
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline team to deliver high-quality, person-centred housing support.
• Provide hands-on leadership, strengthen practice and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Oversee day-to-day service delivery and ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
• Travel between metropolitan Melbourne and Gippsland sites as needed.
