Job summary

Wellways Australia Limited is seeking a Team Leader to lead our frontline housing support team in Melbourne and Gippsland, with regular site presence and travel as needed. The role is full-time, ongoing, and aligned with Housing First principles to provide person-centred support.

You will oversee daily operations, support and develop staff, and drive performance while ensuring compliance with contractual and legislative requirements. Experience in mental health/disability services is valuable.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline team with hands-on leadership across metropolitan Melbourne and Gippsland services.
• Oversee day-to-day service delivery and support frontline staff.
• Develop frontline employees and drive operational performance.
• Ensure services meet contractual, organisational and legislative requirements.
• Collaborate with Service & Practice Lead to translate strategy into action.
• Ensure participants receive responsive, high-quality support.
