Job summary

Wellways is seeking an experienced Team Leader to guide our frontline Housing team in delivering high-quality, person-centred housing support in Victoria. This on-site leadership role requires regular presence across metropolitan Melbourne and Gippsland, with travel between sites to ensure consistent, responsive service.

You will lead, mentor and develop frontline staff, strengthen practice, and foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture grounded in Housing First principles.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification required.
• Current Driver's Licence and ability to undertake travel.
• Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Right to Work within Australia.
• Satisfactory National Police Record Check (last 12 months).
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day service delivery and support frontline staff.
• Lead and develop frontline employees and drive a high-performing team culture.
• Ensure services meet organisational, contractual and legislative requirements.
• Collaborate with the Service & Practice Lead to translate priorities into action.
• Travel between metropolitan Melbourne and Gippsland sites and within the community as needed.
