Job summary

Ability WA is seeking a Housing Engagement Coordinator to join the Housing Team and connect people with disability to home and living supports aligned with their goals and needs. You will support customers through every stage of their housing journey, from enquiry to moving into their new home.

You will collaborate with customers, families, referral partners, Support Coordinators, therapists and SDA providers to deliver a positive onboarding experience and contribute to the growth of Ability

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the NDIS environment, including quoting and funding arrangements.
• Experience in Living Supports or disability services, community services, or customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, families, guardians, and stakeholders to understand home and living goals and identify suitable housing options.
• Support onboarding, assess suitability for Living Support vacancies, and coordinate transitions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with SDA providers, Support Coordinators, therapists, referral partners, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Housing Team to understand housemate preferences and optimise customer matching.
• Promote Ability WA's Living Supports services through networking, community engagement, and industry events.
• Assist in establishing new Living Support sites and support smooth handovers to operations.
• Contribute to occupancy and growth targets across the Living Supports portfolio.
