Job summary

Argyle Housing, a community-managed not-for-profit, provides secure, sustainable housing for people on low to moderate incomes. The Housing Access Specialist role focuses on intake, assessment and approving applicants on the waitlist and guiding them through to Argyle Housing.

You will work within a team committed to client service delivery and the principle of 'One Argyle', with awareness of tenancy legislation and social housing policies to support vulnerable communities across our region.

Qualifications

• Up to date knowledge of tenancy and housing legislation
• Knowledge of social housing policies and procedures
• Understanding of social and community issues affecting housing clients
• Sensitivity to cultural and socio-economic diversity

Responsibilities

• Undertake intake, assessment and approval for waitlisted applicants and transition them to Argyle Housing.
