Job summary

Port Stephens Council is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader for Thou Walla Holiday Park in Soldiers Point. This permanent, part-time role (30 hours per week, up to 38) includes a flexible roster and a base salary with superannuation and allowances.

You will lead a small team to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation on a waterfront site, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety across a seven-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cleaning or Tourism or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in the cleaning or accommodation industry.
• Experience coordinating a small team and leading by example.
• Effective customer service, time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations for Thou Walla Holiday Park.

The opportunity

We have an exciting, newly created opportunity for a Housekeeping Team Leader to join our Holiday Parks team at Thou Walla!

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will provide hands on leadership and coordinate the daily housekeeping operations for our busy Thou Walla Holiday Park. Reporting directly to the Holiday Park Manager, you will drive the day-to-day presentation of our beautiful waterfront holiday park and glamping site, fostering a positive and efficient team culture across a flexible seven-day roster.

This position is perfect for an experienced leader with a strong cleaning background who is dedicated to maintaining consistent high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety and guest services.

This is a permanent opportunity – working part-time 30 hours (up to 38 hours) per week + access to a flexible working arrangement

Hours: This job is perfect for candidate who loves flexibility and is available to work over a seven-day rotating roster

Base Salary Range:$56,338 - $63,943 pa based on 30 hours per week + 12% superannuation + Adverse Work Conditions Allowance + $2,562 Retention Allowance
