Job summary

Hyatt Hotel Canberra, a heritage-inspired property in the heart of the capital, is seeking a Team Leader for Housekeeping to supervise guest room cleanliness and presentation. You will coordinate daily workloads, lead briefings and ensure timely responses to guest requests while maintaining Hyatt standards across floors.

The role emphasizes strong organisational skills, clear communication, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction within a luxury hotel environment.

• Help plan, organise and direct the team to support an efficient housekeeping operation.
• Monitor expenses, payroll, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and laundry use.
• Support the Housekeeping Manager with the day-to-day coordination of the department.

About the role

The Team Leader – Housekeeping supports the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel’s guest rooms and floors. You’ll help coordinate the team’s daily work, maintain hotel standards and ensure guest requests are handled promptly.
