Job summary

Elements Of Byron is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our luxury resort team in Byron Bay. The role focuses on supervising housekeeping staff, training new hires, and maintaining high room standards.

Availability for December and January is essential, with shifts from 8:30am to 4:30pm and a paid training week. You will lead a guest-centred team, ensure spotless rooms, and collaborate closely with the Room Division Manager to sustain our award-winning service.

Qualifications

• Previous Supervisor or Team Leadership experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate a customer focused team.
• Experience working within a luxury hotel/resort environment.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on quality and standards.
• Knowledge and understanding of chemical handling.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

Job description

We are are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team. Ideally you would have been working in a similar role for at least 6 months, or have Housekeeping experience and have previously been a trainer or leader.

You will be responsible for cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, checking and releasing rooms once they have been cleaned and training of new staff to ensure that our rooms meet our high standards. Working with the Room Division Manager you will build and develop a strong and effective team. Bring your keen eye for detail and great organisational, team leadership and time management skills to this role.

As we approach our busy summer season, we require you to be available a minimum of 4 days a week and to be able to work all of December and January.

The hours are, 8.30am – 4.30pm, with a week of paid training provided.

• Previous Supervisor or Team Leadership experience in a similar role
