Job summary

Elements of Byron is seeking a friendly Front Office Concierge to join our award-winning beachfront resort in Byron Bay. In this casual, on-site role, you will deliver exceptional guest service, drive resort buggies, and help create authentic moments of hospitality for our guests.

You'll maintain knowledge of resort facilities, work a 7-day rotating roster with shifts 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm, and be fully available on weekends and public holidays. A valid driver's licence is essential.

• Excellent customer service and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of resort facilities and local area is a plus.
• Full availability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Current full driver’s licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests at the front desk and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
• Drive resort buggies to shuttle guests and assist with luggage as needed.
• Maintain a high standard of professional presentation and guest confidentiality.

To be successful in this role, you will be someone who prides themselves on their outstanding customer service, can remain cool under pressure and has a knowledge of our local area.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager you will be responsible for ensuring we do not merely deliver service but do more than is expected to create authentic moments of hospitality.

You will be a confident driver as a large part of your role is driving our resort buggies allowing you to develop an excellent rapport with our guests. Your high energy, passion for customer service and exceptional attention to detail will see you excel in this role.

The hours

Casual role available working, 30-38hrs a week, across a 7-day rotating roster.

The shifts

7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm

Requirements

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of resort facilities and promotions
• Role will involve physical lifting and movement of luggage and other items
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality
• Experience working in a 4-5 star resort/hotel front office environment preferred
• Full availability to work weekends and public holidays
• Current full drivers licence essential
• Display a professional image at all times through personal presentation and polished communication
• Punctual, reliable and proactive
• Full working rights on an ongoing basis within Australia is required for this role
