Job summary

G’day Group in Byron Bay is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations across our resort properties. You will supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, inspect rooms and public areas, and ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience in housekeeping, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and housekeeping management software, and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role is essential
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions based on priorities and guest needs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and housekeeping management software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
• A current valid drivers license is essential
• Experience with RMS is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure standards
• Train and support the housekeeping team, fostering a positive culture
• Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring areas are stocked
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
