Job summary

G’day Group, a leading Australian tourism brand within Discovery Parks and the G'day Rewards program, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and develop our team across properties. You will oversee daily housekeeping activity, ensure guest rooms and public areas meet high standards, and drive a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates will have proven leadership, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping Supervisor role is essential.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions based on priorities and guest needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and housekeeping management software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A current valid drivers license is essential
• Experience with RMS is a plus

The Role

Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Train, and support the housekeeping team, fostering a positive team culture
• Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring that all areas are adequately stocked.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
