Job summary

Mantra Sirocco and Zanzibar, part of the Accor family, are two luxury properties on the Sunshine Coast offering spacious apartments with ocean views, pools, spa, and gym. We seek a Housekeeping Supervisor to drive daily cleaning excellence and boost team performance across both locations.

You will coach, coordinate, and supervise a team to deliver top-tier cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction while managing shift allocations and costs. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure smooth operations.

• Oversee safety standards, monitor labour costs, and conduct daily room inspections.

Coastal luxury meets unparalleled elegance at Mantra Sirocco and Zanzibar, located along the Sunshine Coast’s peaceful Mooloolaba Esplanade. No two days are the same working across the Sirocco and Zanzibar properties, which comprise of two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses with spacious balconies and panoramic ocean views, seasonally heated pool and spa, sundeck, BBQ area, and gym. There is plenty to do in and around Mooloolaba and the Sunshine Coast on your days off; from surfing, abseiling and rock climbing, to exploring Australia Zoo, visiting the local markets, or simply relaxing on the beach.

Purpose

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you are the driving force behind our Housekeeping team's success! You oversee the achievement of daily cleaning excellence, uplift team spirits, and shape our Housekeeping team into cleanliness champions. With your coaching finesse, you will guarantee our team consistently delivers top-tier cleanliness and productivity, ensuring a sparkling and secure stay for our guests.

Primary Responsibilities

• You will support and coordinate our housekeeping team's daily activities, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Foster team motivation and growth by providing guidance and training to enhance their skills
• Maintain high cleanliness and productivity standards, aligning with company guidelines to enhance guest experiences
• Efficiently allocate rooms for team members during shifts to maintain an even workload distribution
• Ensure safety standards are met, monitoring labour costs and conducting daily room inspections for quality assurance

Skills And Experience

• A sharp eye for detail and previous leadership experience in Housekeeping
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, along with a friendly and outgoing personality
• The ability to think on your feet to keep things running smoothly throughout the day
• A high standard of personal grooming and a polished appearance
• Willingness to not only lead the team but to also work alongside them to ensure their success
• Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
