Sheraton Port Douglas is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to support the daily operations and lead a team in delivering 5-star room and public area presentation.

You will mentor associates, ensure grooming and standards, conduct inspections, manage stock and equipment, and assist with rosters, productivity targets and admin duties.

This on-site role requires luxury hospitality experience, strong leadership and a proactive, guest‑oriented attitude in a renowned hotel network.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Capable of maintaining high standards under pressure.
• Good computer skills for admin/reporting tasks.
• Australian working rights.

Position Summary

• Support the Housekeeping Manager in the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Lead, train and mentor housekeeping associates to deliver consistent 5-star room and public area presentation
• Ensure team compliance with grooming, uniform and operational standards
• Conduct room and area inspections, ensuring all spaces meet Sheraton’s luxury expectations
• Manage stock levels, amenities and equipment, maintaining organised supply areas
• Assist with rosters, productivity targets, and general administrative duties
• Respond to guest requests promptly, creating thoughtful and personalised service experiences
• Support onboarding, performance reviews and coaching of housekeeping associates

About You

• Relevant experience in housekeeping, ideally within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate a team and maintain high standards under pressure
• Basic computer knowledge for administrative and reporting tasks
• Working rights in Australia
