Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Sydney seeks an Assistant Bar Manager to lead a busy food and beverage venue with guest-centric service.

You will manage a team, ensure service excellence, build guest relationships and drive operational standards while upholding company policies and local regulations. This role requires RSA certification, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• RSA certification is required.
• Experience leading a team in bar/venue operations.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Be the connecter and facilitator of collective power and assist with managing a venue in the food and beverage department, tending to the guests and exceeding their expectations
• Responsible for managing a food and beverage venue, ensuring the team is providing service excellence through each customer experience
• Be a confident and welcoming leader, creating a community that empowers your team to grow and reach their potential
• Plan and execute team building activities for your team as together we are better
• Ensure the venue is consistently prepared and always stocked through ordering and adequate planning
• Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Food and Beverage department
• Ensure you and your team uphold all company policies and procedures
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests through engaging experiences and thoughtful service, enabling future bookings
