Job summary

Crystalbrook Sam in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the on‑floor team and uphold exceptional presentation standards. You will oversee housekeeping attendants, coordinate room allocations and ensure readiness of spaces for guests in a new opening property.

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will train and mentor staff, collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and care while delivering

Qualifications

• Previous experience within hotel housekeeping with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Willing to work across seven days including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting our housekeeping collaborators throughout each shift.
• Allocating rooms and daily duties to ensure an efficient flow of work.
• Inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure our presentation standards are consistently achieved.
• Supporting the training, coaching and onboarding of new collaborators.
• Working closely with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for each arriving guest.
• Responding quickly and positively to operational challenges throughout the day.
• Monitoring linen, amenities, equipment and housekeeping supplies.
• Supporting safe working practices and maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
• Helping create a team culture built around collaboration, accountability and genuine care.

Crystalbrook Sam is coming to Adelaide and we are building the team who will bring our newest hotel to life.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor who takes pride in the details, enjoys leading from the floor and knows that an exceptional hotel experience often begins long before a guest opens their room door. Reporting to our Executive Housekeeper, you will help guide our Housekeeping attendants, maintain exceptional presentation standards and create a positive, organised and supportive environment for the team.

The Role

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play an important part in the daily operation of the Housekeeping department. You will coordinate and support the team across guest rooms and hotel public areas, ensuring our standards of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail are consistently delivered.

You will be visible, approachable and willing to roll up your sleeves when required.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

You Will Ideally Bring

• Previous experience within hotel housekeeping with supervisory or team leadership responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• The confidence to coordinate, motivate and support a busy operational team
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• A practical and solutions-focused approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Flexibility to work across a seven-day hotel operation, including weekends and public holidays
• A genuine desire to create an exceptional experience for both our guests and our people
