Job summary

Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas, part of the Marriott International family, is seeking a Part Time Housekeeping team member. Located at Port Douglas along the Great Barrier Reef, the role supports the Housekeeping Department under the Executive Housekeeper, delivering guest comfort and service in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.

You’ll replace amenities, make beds, dust, vacuum, and assist guests with queries while maintaining privacy and a spotless room standard.

This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.

Department

Working within our friendly and professional Housekeeping Department, this position reports to the Executive Housekeeper.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to

• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
• Make beds, remove dirty linens and room service items
• Dust and polish walls and furnishings
• Vacuum carpets and floor care duties
• Ensure the guest's privacy is maintained at all times
• Ability to work flexible rosters including weekends
• Providing all guests at the resort with a superior, personalized and memorable experience by greeting and assisting guests with any query / requirements in a professional and timely manner

Preferred applicants will have valid working rights to work in Australia. Sponsorship will not be available for this position.
