Job summary

Sheraton Port Douglas is seeking an experienced F&B Assistant Manager to lead the food and beverage department, ensure service excellence, and engage guests in memorable experiences.

You will manage outlets, lead a team, and uphold Marriott standards while building relationships with guests. RSA required; working rights in Australia; full-time on-site role in Port Douglas.

Qualifications

• RSA certification is required.
• Experience in a managerial role.
• Working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Be the connecter and facilitator of collective power and assist with managing all aspects of the food and beverage department, tending to the guests and exceeding their expectations
• Responsible for managing all food and beverage outlets, ensuring the team is providing service excellence through each customer experience
• Be a confident and welcoming leader, creating a community that empowers your team to grow and reach their potential
• Plan and execute team building activities for your team as together we are better
• Ensure the restaurant is consistently prepared and always stocked through ordering and adequate planning
• Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Food and Beverage department
• Ensure you and your team uphold all company policies and procedures
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests through engaging experiences and thoughtful service, enabling future bookings
