Job summary

The Dongara Hotel Motel seeks an experienced hospitality leader to oversee the day‑to‑day operations across the hotel’s bar, restaurant, bottleshop, TAB and motel on WA’s Coral Coast. You will work closely with ownership to uphold standards, control costs and drive profitability, while hands‑on on the floor with staff and guests.

Ideal candidate has solid licensed hospitality experience (Hotel/ Venue/ Pub Manager or senior supervisor) and current RSA training; WA Approved Manager status is

Qualifications

• Solid experience in licensed hospitality as Hotel Manager or equivalent.
• Experience with rostering and labour control.
• Good cash-handling and till-control experience.
• Strong staff leadership and supervisory skills.
• Current RSA training and WA Approved Manager status preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operation across bar, restaurant, bottleshop, TAB and motel.
• Lead the team on the floor and assist when required.
• Prepare rosters and keep labour costs under control.
• Recruit, onboard, train and supervise staff.
• Manage staff performance and address issues.
• Maintain customer service and presentation standards.
• Handle complaints and service recovery.
• Ensure RSA and liquor licensing compliance.
• Manage tills, cash handling, stock ordering and wastage.
