Job summary

EVT is seeking a Night Manager in Sydney to lead overnight hotel operations, coordinate security, guest services and night audit processes. The role requires hands-on leadership during the night shift and collaboration with housekeeping, reservations, and maintenance to ensure guest readiness.

Ideal candidates will have prior front office or overnight hotel operations experience, strong guest service skills, and proficiency with hotel management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring security, service standards, and smooth departmental coordination.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, including check-ins/outs, responding to concerns, and ensuring all requests are actioned and followed through.
• Complete the night audit process accurately, ensuring all revenue and payments are posted, balanced, and supported with correct documentation.
• Supervise night team members, maintaining communication, performance standards, and adherence to operational policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance to ensure rooms and guest needs are prepared and delivered accurately.
• Maintain operational readiness by completing opening/closing duties, protecting equipment, and supporting other departments when required.
