KPAT Hotels is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel’s daily operations and guest experiences on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. You will drive service excellence, manage departments, and uphold the Avani brand standards with a hands-on leadership approach.

You will be the face of the hotel, inspiring teams, ensuring financial and operational performance, and delivering memorable experiences for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Hotel Manager, Operations Manager, Rooms Division Manager, or senior hospitality leadership role.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Hands-on leadership with a visible, approachable presence.
• Experience within premium hotels or resort environments is highly regarded.

Lead the Guest Experience at One of the Sunshine Coast's Leading Hotels.

Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel is seeking an experienced and passionate Hotel Manager to lead the day to day operations of the hotel and create unforgettable guest experiences.

Set just 100 metres from the sands of Mooloolaba Beach, Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel offers 180 rooms, multiple food and beverage venues, conference and events facilities, wellness experiences, and some of the best views on the Sunshine Coast.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is far more than operational oversight. We're looking for a highly visible leader who thrives in guest facing environments, is present throughout the hotel, and takes genuine pride in creating memorable moments for guests and team members alike.

You will be the face of the hotel, leading from the front, supporting operational teams, engaging with guests, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects the standards and personality of the Avani brand.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a Hotel Manager, Operations Manager, Rooms Division Manager, or senior hospitality leadership role
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
• Strong operational knowledge across hotels, accommodation, and operations
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Commercial awareness and understanding of financial performance drivers
• Strong communication, relationship building, and problem solving skills

• Support revenue initiatives through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management teams
• Manage guest feedback, service recovery, and VIP experiences
• Foster a positive culture of accountability, development, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements, and brand standards
