Job summary

KPAT Hotels is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel’s daily operations and guest experiences on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. You will drive service excellence, manage departments, and uphold the Avani brand standards with a hands-on leadership approach.

You will be the face of the hotel, inspiring teams, ensuring financial and operational performance, and delivering memorable experiences for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Hotel Manager, Operations Manager, Rooms Division Manager, or senior hospitality leadership role.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.
• Hands-on leadership with a visible, approachable presence.
• Experience within premium hotels or resort environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all departments.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel, actively engaging with guests and supporting operational teams.
• Drive guest satisfaction, reputation scores, and service excellence initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop department leaders to create a high performing, guest-focused culture.
• Partner with the General Manager to deliver financial, operational, and strategic objectives.
• Monitor hotel performance, labour, productivity, and service standards across all areas.
