Job summary

Crystalbrook Flynn in Cairns seeks a proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee care, presentation and performance of our facilities. You will lead the onsite team, coordinate workloads and contractor support, and drive preventative maintenance to ensure reliable guest spaces.

You will monitor expenditure, contribute to budgets and energy-saving improvements while balancing safety and guest comfort. The role is permanent, full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional call-outs.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance leadership experience in hotels or large commercial buildings.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills for preventative and reactive works.
• Knowledge of building services including HVAC, electrical, fire and BMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop onsite Maintenance Officers and coordinate workloads.
• Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs and contractor support.
• Monitor expenditure, contribute to budgets and capital works planning.
• Ensure safety, guest comfort and operational reliability of facilities.
