Job summary

Holiday Inn Perth City Centre is seeking a part-time Kitchen Attendant to support our Ivy & Jack restaurant team. You’ll help chefs, maintain cleanliness, and ensure standards in a busy kitchen, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

The role covers prep support, cleaning, food storage, and handling deliveries. Applicants should have a Food Handling Certificate, experience in a busy kitchen, and be flexible across a seven-day roster.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering great service
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Attendant in a busy kitchen environment
• Food Handling Certificate
• Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team
• Flexibility to work evenings, early mornings, weekends and public holidays on a seven-day roster
• Working rights in Australia
• Current national police clearance (not older than 6 months)

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
• Maintaining food storage areas
• Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen
• Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling and washing
• Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes
