TFE Hotels is seeking a driven General Manager for Adina Hotel Darling Harbour, Sydney. You will lead a 114-key boutique property, shaping guest experience and overseeing Rooms, F&B and Guest Services with autonomy and central support.

We value hands-on leadership, a strong F&B background, and a track record of lifting performance in boutique or lifestyle settings. Australian working rights are required; sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a General Manager or senior Hotel Manager in a quality hotel environment.
• Strong Food & Beverage background with a track record of improving restaurant and bar performance.
• Sharp commercial acumen with a proven record of lifting hotel or venue performance.
• Passion for personalised service and guest-first culture.
• Dynamic, hands-on, highly visible leadership with strong communication skills.
• Understanding of WHS, food safety and hotel compliance requirements.
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights (sponsorship not available).

• Dining: Shoreline Kitchen, an 80-seat waterfront restaurant and bar
• Facilities: Pool, gym and conference rooms
• Team: Approximately 50, with 6 direct reports
• Support: TFE Hotels central service model

Adina Hotel Darling Harbour has just completed its transformation, and we're looking for a driven, dynamic General Manager to build performance in a fresh environment. If you lead with attitude, love the buzz of a busy restaurant and bar, and want a hotel small enough to know every guest and team member by name, this is your opportunity.

The Opportunity

This is not a 'maintain the status quo' role. You'll own the hotel's performance end to end - Rooms, Food & Beverage and Guest Services - with no layers of management between you and the results.

Shoreline Kitchen sits at the heart of the opportunity. You'll shape its identity, drive activations and partnerships, and make it a Darling Harbour destination for locals and guests alike.

With TFE Hotels' central service model taking care of much of the back-of-house administration, you'll be free to focus on what really counts: guest service, Food & Beverage sales and marketing, and the commercial levers that directly impact results.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building hotel performance in a newly refreshed environment, setting clear goals and delivering against them.
• Creating a warm, personalised boutique service culture that guests notice and teams are proud of.
• Driving Food & Beverage sales and marketing, including activations, events and local partnerships.
• Owning the direct-impact commercials - revenue, F&B sales, labour and cost control - with budgeting and forecasting support from the central team.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders and the local business community.
• Recruiting, developing and inspiring a motivated team through visible, hands-on leadership.

About You

Attitude is everything. You're driven, positive and ambitious, you lead from the front, and you love the hands-on, close-knit nature of a boutique hotel.

Essential:

• Experience as a General Manager, or an accomplished Hotel Manager ready for the step up, within a quality hotel environment.
• A strong Food & Beverage background, with a track record of driving restaurant and bar performance.
• Sharp commercial acumen and a proven track record of lifting hotel or venue performance.
• A passion for personalised service and building a guest-first culture.
• A dynamic, hands-on and highly visible leadership style, with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
• Understanding of WHS, food safety and hotel compliance requirements.
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available for this position).

Desirable:

• Boutique or lifestyle hotel experience.
• Pre-opening or repositioning experience.
• A tertiary qualification in hospitality or business.
• Knowledge of the Sydney hospitality market.
