Job summary

IHG's dual-branded Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins and Holiday Inn M seeks an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead the maintenance team in Melbourne's CBD. You will oversee daily preventative maintenance, safety training, and guest-friendly service while coordinating with departments to minimize disruption.

The ideal candidate has solid hotel maintenance experience, strong leadership, and, if possible, electrical qualifications to support complex building systems.

Qualifications

• Solid maintenance experience in a hotel or building services
• Proven ability to lead a diverse team to deliver timely repairs and prevent downtime
• Strong communication with departments to coordinate maintenance work

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision of the maintenance team to ensure timely routine and preventive work
• Collaborate with hotel leaders to keep departments informed of maintenance needs
• Create and manage the departmental roster and allocate work orders via HubOS
• Assist in Fire Life Safety management including training and extinguisher drills
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and brand standards
