Hotel Indigo Melbourne is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance, safety, and building services across a busy hotel environment. You will lead a diverse team, coordinate rosters, and collaborate with other departments to minimize guest disruption while maintaining brand standards.

Ideal candidates will have strong hospitality maintenance experience, leadership ability, and the flexibility to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic setting.

Formación

• Full working rights within Australia with no restrictions.
• Solid experience in a maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality industry or building services.
• Electrical qualifications would be highly regarded.
• Ability to lead and inspire colleagues from varied backgrounds, levels of skill and experience and an ability to communicate and collaborate with other functions.
• Previous experience working in guest areas and assisting guests with other requests as required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily supervision of the team so that routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs are executed in a timely manner with minimal impact on guests.
• Build collaborative partnerships with leaders so that all departments are kept informed on maintenance needs that might impact their areas.
• Create, implement and manage the departmental roster ensuring compliance to HIGA and other applicable awards.
• Allocate work requests, scheduled maintenance and repairs to the Maintenance Technicians via HubOS.
• Assist in the management of Fire Life Safety within the facility which includes coordinating evacuation training, first aid courses and extinguisher training.
• Disseminate safety information to colleagues relevant to the specific work hazards of the area.
• Play a key role in the management of compliance documentation by developing knowledge on both local building codes and brand standards.
