Job summary

Intercontinental Hotels Group is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Manager in Melbourne to lead facilities operations and maintenance across guest rooms and public areas. Qualifications

• Trade or engineering background with strong technical knowledge.
• Experience in a quality-led, luxury hotel environment preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets and forecasts across operational and capital budgets.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of building codes, compliance and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Attend and respond to guest repair requests with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including lubrication.
• Troubleshoot and repair hotel MEP systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
• Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures and compliance with building codes.
