Job summary

QT Gold Coast is seeking a proactive sales professional to drive conferencing and events revenue through proactive sales, site inspections and strong client relationships. You will generate new business, build a strong pipeline, respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, and host client site inspections to secure business, working closely with the hotel leadership team.

This role requires proven hotel/conferencing/events sales experience and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel, conferencing or events sales.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Team player mindset with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive sales calls, site inspections and networking.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of C&E leads and opportunities.
• Respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and issue contracts.
• Host clients and conduct site inspections to secure business.
• Grow and retain key accounts through great service and regular contact.
• Represent QT Gold Coast at industry and networking events.
• Keep CRM records and reporting accurate and up to date.
• Liaise closely with the Director of Sales, C&E Manager and wider hotel team.
