Job summary

Merivale Narooma in NSW, Australia is seeking quality and talented Sommeliers, Wait Staff and Hosts to join our team on a full-time basis. Positions are available at a variety of venues with opportunities to progress across levels.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in the industry, are confident with guest interaction, can discuss the food and beverage menu, take orders and provide attentive service, and work well with kitchen and bar staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant experience in the industry.
• Confident with customer engagement; including greeting guests, ability to learn and discuss food and beverage menu, taking orders and serving guest
• Previous experience in a fast -paced restaurant, bistro, or hotel
• Ability to work closely with kitchen and bar staff
• Understanding of setting and clearing tables to a high standard, managing multiple tables in one service, and pre-empting the guests needs
